Life Behind the Chair

My hairstyling journey began in Ukraine over 25 years ago, where I first cultivated my skills and techniques. When I moved to Canada, initially I dedicated my expertise to non-surgical hair replacement, assisting both men and women struggling with hair density concerns. However, my passion eventually led me to the enchanting world of bridal hairstyling! Now, I take immense pride in collaborating with brides to bring their hair visions to life on their special day.

With a specialization in extensions and deep knowledge of addressing a variety of hair concerns, I offer brides the opportunity to achieve their desired wedding day hair, regardless of their natural hair length, volume or density. Always a Creative

I make custom hair accessories that reflect my clients’ unique individuality and style on their special day.
I enjoy giving old furniture a new life by repairing and refurbishing beloved pieces with a modern makeover and a distinctive flair.
I have a big passion for Argentine Tango and I dance several times a week.
I hand-made a collection of moth brooches bedazzled with jewels, embroidery and a variety of fabrics.
When inspired by design, I sew and alter my own clothing.

I cannot say enough good things about Hair Master Toronto! Svitlana styled my hair, my immediate family, and the groom’s immediate family for my wedding. She listened to everyone’s requests, provided suggestions, and made sure we were happy with the end result. I was absolutely in love with my hair! We got so many compliments and she put in just the right amount of product. Our hair styles lasted all day even through the dancing! Highly recommend her :)

Firstly, she is so easy to work with – from organized emailing, to timely arrival on the day of, to staying perfectly on schedule throughout the morning. Secondly, the hairstyles she created were beautiful and they lasted all night – and you should have seen all the dancing we were doing! Everyone commented on how incredible I and all the girls looked, and that's 100% thanks to Svitlana and her team. We all loved our hair, and not a single complaint was had by anyone of the bridesmaids – Svitlana understood everyone’s visions and executed it perfectly. I am so glad to have found Svitlana. In addition to being a genuinely kind person, she is very dedicated and diligent with her work. She styled my hair for my bridal shower and wedding, and also styled my mom and bridesmaids’ hair. Leading up to the events, she was always responsive to my many questions. On the event days, she was punctual, and did a great job with all the hairstyles. I really appreciated that for my wedding day, she made sure that my hairstyle was very comfortable despite being an elaborate updo with a headpiece. She checked with me after every Bobby pin to make sure I could wear the hairstyle through the extremely long day, and it truly was comfortable. Thank you so much Svitlana! I cannot recommend her enough for any special event hairstyling.
